In accordance to the upcoming Asia Rugby Championship (Division 3 East), which will take place in Brunei from the 6th of May to the 12th of May.
President of Asia Rugby Aga Hussain paid a 3-day visit to the Abode of Peace from March 18 – 20 to attend a meeting with the officials from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) Brunei Darussalam with an aim to improve and flourish Brunei Rugby. It was mentioned that Brunei Rugby is heading in the right direction. However, there are still a few areas that need to be worked on such as the promotion of women’s rugby amongst others. In addition to that, the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports have also shown interest towards the idea of Brunei hosting more international rugby games.
